Sam's Club is having a FREE prview this weekend only. Not only can you check out what they have to offer but you can also purchase anything in the store without an "upcharge". Like I posted before, there are not a lot of things that are great prices there for couponers but there are a few things I really like. Here are my favorites...

Yeast - It is $4.38 for 2 - 16 oz bags. This is a huge money saver from the jars or packets at the store.  Even if you don't bake much in the summer it is good for months in the fridge or freezer so you can have it for all your Christmas and winter baking.

Frozen Veggies - They carry huge bags of frozen corn, peas, broccoli cuts, California mix, green beans and mixed veggies. They range between $4 and $5 each.

Organinc Spring Mix Salad - This deal is great if you eat salad. It is a huge plastic container of salad mix for $4. We are never able to eat it all before it goes bad because it is so big. I'm going to post a couple of salad recipes to go with it later today.

Tyson Frozen Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast - A 10 lb bag is $20 so just $2 a pound and they are nice because they are 4 oz portions and fairly thin and evenly sized so they cook evenly too!

I have also bought bread flour, brown and powdered sugar, milk, produce, and hot cocoa mix there depending on the current store prices and sale.

They have the best rotissere chicken too if you don't feel like cooking when you get home. They are a lot bigger than the ones at the grocery stores.

The Twins have Arrived!

Chickster's twins have made their grand arrival. Jaelynn and Andrew were born Tuesday night and they are doing great. Everyone finally understands why she has been so miserable because Jaelynn weighed 6 lbs 1 oz and Andrew weighed 6 lbs 3 oz! They only spent a little time in the NICU out of precaution so everyone is very happy they are doing so well. Chickster is hoping they will all be going home today. Thanks for all your prayers and concern for her during her pregnancy! You can continue to pray for their transition from a family of 4 to a family of 6 and getting adjusted to their new life. You are the best peeps ever!

Also, if anyone is wanting to show their appreciation for the year and half that Chickster spent doing this blog with me I am sure they will be needing lots of diapers. I am teaching a class again on September 9th at Southeast Community College. You would be more than welcome to drop them off during the class (6:30-8:30). Plus that is a month to get them on a great sale - she would be upset if she knew anyone paid full price and didn't use a coupon! I know she has lots of newborns and size 1s so size 2s would be great. Thanks again!
