Homemade Febreeze

I have an issue with feeling like my house smells.  I live with my hubby, 4 boys, a dog, a daycare and so my house does usually smells less than lovely.  I am not a fan of the scents of Febreeze or other brand fabric freshners and I can't burn candles during daycare.

Long story short, I love love love the recipe that the Homemade Mamas have for making your own "Febreeze" with water, baking soda and your favorite liquid fabric softener.

What You Need:
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup liquid fabric softener
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
Simply mix these three ingredients together in a spray bottle, shake well, and get spraying! This is a big money saver in addition to being able to "choose your own scent".  I made mine with Downy and I love that it doesn't overpower your house with smells, not too much and not too little.  Love It!

Thanks, Homemade Mamas!
